Disneytopia Hotels

 


There are twelve hotels located in Walter Elias Disneytopia. They are an extension of the stories the guests find in the parks.


Dream Kingdom Area

  • Disney’s Grand Texan Resort (Deluxe Value): This Old West-inspired resort brings the history of Texas to life as an extension to Frontierland. This hotel contains an Alamo-inspired pool and recreational activities.

  • Disney’s South Pacific Resort (Deluxe Value): Themed to the islands of Polynesia, this hotel follows in Aulani’s footsteps as a hotel that is authentically Polynesian, with a touch of Disney magic. It serves as an extension of Adventureland.

  • Disney’s Alpine Resort (Deluxe Value): Guests are immersed in the Fairy Tale setting of the Alpine region. Inspired by Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Northern Italy, guests really feel like they’ve entered a storybook, with some Alpine influences. This serves as an extension of Fantasyland.

  • Walter Elias Disneytopia Hotel (Deluxe Value): Guests enter a futuristic building that tributes Walt Disney’s experimental and progressive views. From designs of Progress City to a Small World-esque Mural, and even a pool with a 1950s feel to it, it reckons back to the early days of Disney parks as an extension of Tomorrowland.

Wavy Island Area:

  • Disney’s El Mar Resort (Moderate Value): Located in close proximity to the water park, Wavy Island, this serves as an extension of that place. With a Mesoamerican feel recreating several Mexican beach resorts, this gives people an experience similar to Xcaret in Mexico.

Nautical Kingdom Area:

  • Disney’s Hotel Venetia (Moderate Value): Like Tokyo Disneysea’s Hotel MiraCosta, this hotel is at the entrance of the park and is themed to Venice. Here, guests enter and feel like they’re in an extension of European Harbor.

  • Disney’s Portside Hotel (Moderate Value): This Cape Cod-themed hotel is where guests can come in and feel like they’re living a sailor’s life. From a pool near a lighthouse to Little Mermaid themed rooms, this is the place where they can go to live a laid-back life.

  • Disney’s Explorer’s Point (Moderate Value): In an African-inspired building is where guests find an experience themed to the S.E.A. Here, guests find themselves in an exotic atmosphere as they travel through the jungle, including a safari-themed pool and a play area with jungle animals.

Cinematic Kingdom Area:

  • Disney’s Thru the Decades Resort (Family Value): In five areas, guests are immersed in pop culture of the Twentieth Century. Like the Pop Century Resort, it has areas themed to the 1950’s through the 1990’s. In each area are Disney references to those eras. (Ex. 101 Dalmations in the 1960’s, Beauty and the Beast in the 1990’s, ect.) This serves as an extension of Hollywood Gardens in a way.

  • Disney’s Pixar Place Resort (Family Value): In five places are where guests are immersed in the world of Pixar Animation. Here, they find five areas themed to Toy Story, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc., and Cars. This serves as an extension of the Worlds of Pixar area.

Disney Central Area:

  • Disney’s Hotel USA (Family Value): Themed to America, this hotel is a modest look at the nation in five zones themed to New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Nashville, and Las Vegas, all with a Disney twist.

  • Disney’s Hotel Musica (Family Value): Themed to US music, this is a hotel where guests stay in five areas themed to Country, Jazz, Rock, Pop, and Disco.

Welcome to a tropical Caribbean paradise where guests can enjoy themselves. Whether it be getting soaked or simply drifting, guests will find something at this water park inspired by Mexican beach resorts. In four “villages,” guests will find something new and exciting. Park Size: 97 Acres Smaller than the theme parks, but still has a lot of space PARK MAP: (Coming Soon) OVERVIEW: When coming in from the outside, guests will first enter the Beach Village. Inspired by a Mexican beach resort, guests can pick up their special Canzen bracelets. Here is where they’ll find a wave pool as well as experiences for all ages. Marine Life Institute: Introduction

OVERVIEW: On the American west coast is the newest facility of the Marine Life Institute. Here, guests are invited to come and take part in the Institute’s newest projects, where guests will help them discover more about the marine life of the world. Here, they are presented with three separate programs. In their SeaRider program, guests will shrink down to the size of a fish and explore the ocean. In their Marine World program, guests will learn more about the life inhabiting the world’s oceans. Finally, in their Turtle Talk program, guests will interview a voluntary sea turtle and learn about his world, while he learns about their world too. This may be a smaller area compared to the rest of the park, but it is still worth seeing. Here, guests can even spot some sea lions down by the bay. (Possibly Fluke and Rudder from Finding Dory. ) Other notable sights include a lighthouse, some seagulls who say “MINE!”, and a boat, which is parked near a pier sticking out of the base.

Frontierland: Dining, Shopping, and Entertainment

  DINING: W - Crescent City Cafe Quick Service In this quaint New Orleans restaurant, guests can eat bread bowls, soups, sandwiches, and other foods in an outdoor pavilion. They may also hear a jazz band play from time to time, depending on when they come. X - Tiana’s Palace Table Service Inspired by the restaurant seen in The Princess and the Frog, this is where guests can get an authentic New Orleans dining experience. Here, they can have beignets, gumbo, as well as some American cuisine. Don’t forget to order the mouth-watering Mardi Gras cake for dessert! Y - Davy Crockett Inn Quick Service Near Grizzly Hall is a rustic building where guests can eat burgers, chicken tenders, and hot dogs, as well as sandwiches, in a rustic setting.
