Arabian Coast: Introduction


OVERVIEW:

Imagine an exotic place where an unknown magic resides, where tales of old come to life. Well, this is that place. In a Middle Eastern port is where the world of the Arabian Nights come to life, guests will find a land filled with an unusual culture and mythology


Although this is also a family area, this is a step up from the nearby Mermaid Lagoon. Here, guests find more to see, flying carpets, caravans, and palaces. In the outskirts of the land is the ominous cave of wonders, where treasures untold are hidden.


But it’s not just the story of Aladdin that gets attention here. Many other tales, from Ali Baba to Sinbad, are honored here too. Guests can even go on a voyage through a storybook world in a new ride, Sinbad’s Storybook Adventure.


Plus, this port flows well into the nearby Egyptian port of Ancient Delta, so its placement is kind of nice.

Marine Life Institute: Introduction

OVERVIEW: On the American west coast is the newest facility of the Marine Life Institute. Here, guests are invited to come and take part in the Institute’s newest projects, where guests will help them discover more about the marine life of the world. Here, they are presented with three separate programs. In their SeaRider program, guests will shrink down to the size of a fish and explore the ocean. In their Marine World program, guests will learn more about the life inhabiting the world’s oceans. Finally, in their Turtle Talk program, guests will interview a voluntary sea turtle and learn about his world, while he learns about their world too. This may be a smaller area compared to the rest of the park, but it is still worth seeing. Here, guests can even spot some sea lions down by the bay. (Possibly Fluke and Rudder from Finding Dory. ) Other notable sights include a lighthouse, some seagulls who say “MINE!”, and a boat, which is parked near a pier sticking out of the base.
