Adventureland: Introduction

 


OVERVIEW:

This is a land themed to exploring exotic places and perilous regions of the world. From Kumandra to the Caribbean, to the Amazon and Oceania, this is where adventures are held. However, one theme links all of these adventures together: water.


To an extent, water is featured in every attraction. From water rides like Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean, to shows and attractions that feature water as a background effect, water is found everywhere. To emphasize this, the area has a large river surrounding Treasure Island, the place where guests can explore.


Aside from this, guests are transported to amazing places. This includes the seas of Polynesia, the jungles of South America, the islands of the Caribbean, and the rivers of Southeast Asia. Here, guests can get a glimpse of the region, including some cultural experiences to further bring them there.


In short, this daring land has so much to explore, that it will send you on your own true-life adventure!

Welcome to a tropical Caribbean paradise where guests can enjoy themselves. Whether it be getting soaked or simply drifting, guests will find something at this water park inspired by Mexican beach resorts. In four “villages,” guests will find something new and exciting. Marine Life Institute: Introduction

OVERVIEW: On the American west coast is the newest facility of the Marine Life Institute. Here, guests are invited to come and take part in the Institute’s newest projects, where guests will help them discover more about the marine life of the world. Here, they are presented with three separate programs. In their SeaRider program, guests will shrink down to the size of a fish and explore the ocean. In their Marine World program, guests will learn more about the life inhabiting the world’s oceans. Finally, in their Turtle Talk program, guests will interview a voluntary sea turtle and learn about his world, while he learns about their world too. This may be a smaller area compared to the rest of the park, but it is still worth seeing. Here, guests can even spot some sea lions down by the bay. (Possibly Fluke and Rudder from Finding Dory. ) Other notable sights include a lighthouse, some seagulls who say “MINE!”, and a boat, which is parked near a pier sticking out of the base.

Frontierland: Dining, Shopping, and Entertainment

  DINING: W - Crescent City Cafe Quick Service In this quaint New Orleans restaurant, guests can eat bread bowls, soups, sandwiches, and other foods in an outdoor pavilion. They may also hear a jazz band play from time to time, depending on when they come. X - Tiana’s Palace Table Service Inspired by the restaurant seen in The Princess and the Frog, this is where guests can get an authentic New Orleans dining experience. Here, they can have beignets, gumbo, as well as some American cuisine. Don’t forget to order the mouth-watering Mardi Gras cake for dessert! Y - Davy Crockett Inn Quick Service Near Grizzly Hall is a rustic building where guests can eat burgers, chicken tenders, and hot dogs, as well as sandwiches, in a rustic setting.
